So, does anyone?—

—have any good tips, suggestions or resources for studying unique facial structure? I already need to get back on the horn working on improving a handful of things, but based on someone’s awesomely astute critique/observation skills, I’d kind of like to work on making my characters’ human faces a little less same-face-y as well. I have a couple of anatomy books I’ll go back to, but I’m not sure quite how to tackle the variation aspect without steeping into caricature territory, which I sort of hate looking at. Any help or suggestions would be super appreciated!

  2. kekos-lair answered: ummm what about simple figures togheter like… a circle inside a square, the circle is the nose. and then you just use your imagination =)
  3. racconconnoisseur answered: depends, I like to do caricatures of famious people who are different, politicans
  4. psshaw answered: wHAAAT-what’s wrong with caricatures. Appreciating those is the best way I know how to improve. You must be looking at the WRONG CARICATURES.
